Kastehelmi means "dewdrop" in Finnish. Inspired by the morning dew that sparkles like pearls in the morning sun, it was designed by Oiva Toikka in 1964. The decoration, which resembles a string of glass drops, accentuates the beauty of the sparkling glass.

Designed by Oiva Toikka in 1964, it was renewed in 2010. The decoration like the connected glass drops was originally an idea to hide the joints left over from the manufacturing process, but Toikka liked it so much that he decided to use it on the whole. As a result, the design highlights the beauty of the shining glass.
