NychairX is a folding personal chair designed by Takeshi Arai in 1970 and still loved today.

This is a compact, comfortable chair designed to suit Japanese living environments.
Even when combined with the ottoman, the space is compact, about one tatami mat, so you can relax comfortably.



The NychairX provides a comfortable, enveloping seating experience by taking advantage of the carefully calculated height of the armrests, angle of the backrest and the properties of the fabric.

With its beautiful form and light weight of approximately 6.5 kg, even women can carry it easily.
When folded, it is about 15 cm wide and can stand on its own even when folded, so it can be stored in a gap. The seat can be removed and replaced, so it can be used for a long time.
