The Revolt Chair was designed by Friso Kramer for Ahrend in the 1950s and is one of his most famous works.
This chair, which embodies that minimalist style, has been reproduced by HAY in collaboration with Ahrend.
It continues to use the same manufacturing processes as the original, including the innovative use of materials such as folded steel sheet for the frame instead of the traditional steel tubing.
This recreates the functionality and durability that were pioneering mid-century design.
